For people who are looking for opportunities for employment or to gain an education there is an event going on next weekend in Perry. 

A job and college fair will be taking place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 27th at the National Guard Armory in Perry and those who would like to participate are asked to bring their resume. 

The fair is sponsored by Iowa Army National Guard and will feature a host of businesses and educational institutions. 

There are 19 businesses and organizations planning to attend and of those 16 of them will be actively hiring. The event is free and open to the public.
