Greene County ISU Extension is offering one final private pesticide application training course for the year.

The class will be held on Tuesday, March 30th from 1:30-3:30pm at the Extension office in Jefferson. This training is for any private agricultural crop producer that applies restricted-use pesticides on their property and land they rent. Cost for the class is $20 and participants should plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the course. 

Greene County Extension Director Lori Mannel says if you miss this final opportunity to continue to apply pesticides privately, you must take the certification test, which will be held at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. Pre-registration is required by contacting the Extension office.
