The newest members of the Greene County FFA Chapter recently attended a special event.

Six Greene County members participated in the Greenhand Fire Up Conference at Atlantic High School. Greenhand means a new member of FFA who is also in their first year of high school. FFA district and state leaders facilitated various workshops that focused on leadership with an emphasis on high school experiences. The workshops included topics on authenticity, balancing priorities, communication and FFA opportunities. 

Those Greene County students that attended were: Jack Hansen, Gabe Ebersole, Brayton Crouse, Trey Schilling, Grace Hardaway and Graci Cooklin. FFA Alumni Gwen Black led one of the workshops.
