The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.

The Board approved a resolution for First State Bank as the purchaser of $542,715 of general obligation bonds for county building improvements as presented. Additionally, the interest rate is 0.85-percent through June of 2028. The Board also reviewed general obligation bonds within the urban renewal area with debt service paid by the wind turbines. Following a discussion, the Board decided to accept proposals from local banks with options to refinance existing debt and capture new money from the wind turbines to pay for additional projects at a future meeting.

The Board also approved bridge posting signs for truck loads as presented. County Engineer Josh Sebern then told the Board that County Road F63 was closed for a bridge project, work continues of repairing a bridge on Grant Avenue and secondary roads are continuing to trim trees and they approved a liquor license for Bar Candy.
