A Perry man faces charges from a couple of Greene County incidents.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams says they executed a search warrant at the home of 29-year-old Anthony Booth in the 1800 block of 6th Street in Perry. Williams says Booth allegedly burglarized a Greene County residence twice on March 20th. The warrant was executed Tuesday and Williams notes they recovered the stolen items, including a television, tools and other items.

Williams says while authorities were searching the residence, they also found suspected drug items and an improvised explosive device in the open. The State Fire Marshalls Office was contacted and they seized the IED. Williams notes the drug items and related charges will be coming from Dallas County, while charges are pending from their burglary investigation in Greene County.

Booth was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for driving while barred and remains in the Dallas County Jail under a $2,000 bond. The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office and the Perry Police Department assisted with the search warrant. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
