The Dallas County Board of Supervisors approved an adopt-a-roadway application at their regular meeting Tuesday.

Also, the Board approved multiple items relating to the law enforcement center as presented, the revised Families First Coronavirus Response policy and set a time and date for a public hearing of 9:30 a.m. April 13th for the EMS I Am Responding contract renewal.

Also, the Board held public hearings on the 5 year road construction program which will continue to the next meeting, the final plat of Westwood Oaks plat 3 which was approved, and the first reading of proposed amendments to local option sales and services tax.

Finally, the Board heard the results of the courthouse exterior inspection report. This report revealed various issues including internal roof drains, gutter and flashings and exterior stone, among other things. There was an initial cost estimate of $2.8 million for the project but those initial numbers were made in 2020 and the actual estimated cost is not yet known.

The regular meeting ended in a closed session to discuss pending litigation.
