For those looking for an activity to do outside, there is an upcoming event which is hosted by the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce Raccoon River Valley Trail Committee.

Running from 9-11 a.m. on April 17th, people are being encouraged to sign up to get out and help clean up the Raccoon River Valley Trail. Clean up will include activities such as picking up trash and dead wood, cleaning up garden beds, cutting back plants among other things. 

People interested in participating are asked to register and not just show up to the event. As of now there are currently slots available for people to participate in. For more information on the event and to register you can go here.
