Memorial services for Vernon Van Gundy, 85, of Dallas Center, formerly of Jamaica, will be Saturday, April 10, at 10:30 a.m. at the Twigg Funeral Home in Panora. Visitation will be Friday, April 9, from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial of the cremains will be in the Richland Township Cemetery near Bagley.

Survivors include: wife, Patricia; children: Tamra Lazenby of Yale, Troy Van Gundy of Grimes, and Melissa Stratton of Grimes; eight grandchildren and  four great-grandchildren; and brothers: Robert Van Gundy and Gordon Van Gundy, both of Jamaica.
