There will be an advanced storm spotter class from the National Weather Service (NWS) coming up in April.

The advanced storm spotter training class is scheduled for 7 p.m. April 19th through the NWS and its meteorologists. The class will take place virtually and will build upon the information learned in the basic storm spotter class.

The advanced class is intended for those people who want a deeper understanding of meteorology as it relates to storm spotting, and spotters who want to attend the class should have attended the basic course.
