Dallas Center – Grimes boys soccer was able to come into Thursday night’s game against Winterset on a scoring hot streak, and one that didn’t stop as they were able to coast to victory winning by the score of 10-0. DCG moves to 3-0 on the season following the victory.

Two different DCG players were able to record hat tricks on the night, with both senior Eli Followwill and junior Kendall Bickford each recording three goals. Sophomore Jacob Ewers was also able to tally two goals himself in the victory, as the Mustangs through all their victories thus far have been able to put up 26 goals through three games, while not giving up any on their own during the process.

Defensively they were able to keep Winterset out of their territory for the majority of the night, and really pressured the Husky defense, which helped create the numerous scoring chances.

DCG will have multiple games on the road next week, with the first one being against Grinnell next Tuesday.
