
Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tiger athletics had a very busy day on Thursday, and were able to pick up a lot of wins in multiple sports.
The girls soccer team was able to pick up one of their biggest wins of the season, as they defeated their rivals 2-1 over Dallas Center – Grimes is a tough non-conference matchup. Abby Gonzalez and Alexa Seidl were both able to tally goals for the Tigers, as they were able to defeat one an excellent team with both teams receiving state recognition.
The boys and the girls golf teams were both able to pick up some big victories, with the girls defeating Woodward – Granger 197-224, and the Tigers taking the 18 hole Woodward Invitational with a team score of 323.
The track and field teams were able to make some noise as well, the boys were able to win the six team event with a score of 190 points, and the girls were able to get first out of eight teams with a score of 163.
A lot of things happening for the Tigers on Thursday, and a lot of success as well, as the the spring athletic teams will look for more in the future.
