Nate Mueller has been picking up non-stop accolades since he started his high school career, racking up numerous wins , awards, and a pair of state cross country titles as well. On Thursday, the ADM senior was recognized with one of the biggest awards an athlete can receive, the Gatorade Iowa Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year. This is a premier award given to the top athletes in their respective sports by every state, and Mueller got the recognition that he deserved.

The Tigers senior has been running the fastest times across every class around the state, and is also the 2020 state cross country champion as well. Mueller has also been able to put up some great times during various track meets this spring, putting up some massive times in the longer distance events for the Tigers.

Mueller is signed with Iowa State to continue on his running career with the Cyclones.
