Greene County Farm Bureau recently announced its scholarship winners.

Chloe Berns of Churdan, Laci Riedesel of Churdan, and Ashlyn Frederick of Jefferson all received a scholarship.

Berns attends Paton-Churdan High School and her future plans are to attend Iowa State University to major in finance. She will receive her scholarship at the P-C Mentor Banquet in May.

Riedesel attends South Central Calhoun High School and plans to go to Des Moines Area Community Center in Ankeny to major in agri-business. She will receive her scholarship at the South Central Calhoun Senior Class Night next month.

Frederick attends Greene County High School and plans to attend ISU for agronomy. She will formerly receive the scholarship at the senior awards night in May. 

Those who received a scholarship had a parent who is a Farm Bureau member and is in good standing. They also had to have at least a 2.5 grade point average, be involved in extracurricular activities and plan to attend an accredited higher educational institution.
