For those who may have unused or expired medications that they would like to get rid of, the opportunity to do so is today.

The Perry Police Department is taking part in the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) National Drug Take Back Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today outside the police department and the deposit box will be outside of the building.  

Items that can be dropped off include unused or outdated medications or over the counter medications. Things that can’t be picked up include things such as anything in a needle form or inhalers.
