The Guthrie County Community Foundation has announced its recipients for the 2021 grant cycle.
The funds that were awarded come from the Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines and Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation.
The awarded funds went to a total of 23 communities or organizations including Little Panther Daycare for $15,000 for an expansion project, the Guthrie County Hospital for $7,393 for equipment and Menlo Fire and Rescue for a truck for $18,620.
The Foundation had a total of $118,632 in grant funds this cycle and received requests for funds totaling $166,874. With this the Foundation was not able to award funds to all requests received.
