The RadioActive Bingo contest with Raccoon Valley Radio has officially ended with a Perry resident taking home the grand prize. 

Dave Meixner of Perry was crowned as the $500 grand prize winner. Listeners picked up Bingo cards that included participating sponsors instead of numbers, and crossed off spots as they heard the related advertisements on the air. Meixner describes his plans with his winnings.

“Well you know with this COVID stuff never took a vacation, for about a year and I’m going to put it forth to go somewhere this year because we are getting sick of just, don’t get me wrong we love Iowa, but we want to go somewhere.”

RadioActive Bingo is just one of the various promotions held throughout the year by Raccoon Valley Radio where those in the community have a chance to win a prize. Others include the Caring Christmas Cash Call among other contests.
