The Greene County High School boys’ soccer team plays at home tonight in Grand Junction at Karber Field vs. PCM. while the Rams send their track & field squads to North Polk High School in Alleman.

Coach Carl Behne’s soccer Rams are 7-3 overall, tied for ninth in the Class 1A rankings, and are coming off a 1-0 win last Thursday vs. Kuemper Catholic on the Knights’ home field in Carroll. While the Rams have won six of their last seven, PCM has struggled to get into the win column this season. The Mustangs are 2-7 with just 11 goals scored in nine matches and they’ve been shut out four times. The Rams have posted three shut outs this season and on average are allowing just 1.7 goals per match.

This is the last week of the track & field regular season for Greene County. They’ll face a challenging field in Alleman tonight, then have the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference Meet on Thursday hosted by PCM in Monroe. The Rams are just 10 days away from the Class 2A Coed State Qualifying Meet they’ve been assigned to in Manson.
