Caleb C. Rutan, age 50, 828 S 18th St, Fort Dodge, was arrested on a warrant for Violation Of Probation.
Robelyn Joy Bertroche, Granger, was traveling north on W Ave. She stopped and proceeded through the intersection. She then hit Austin Sink, West Des Moines, in a cement truck, who was traveling westbound on Hwy 44. Minor injuries were reported and EMS was called to check the drivers out. Damage to Ms. Bertroche’s vehicle was estimated at $10,000 and damage to the cement truck was estimated at $5,000. Ms. Bertroche was issued a citation for Fail To Obey Stop Sign and Yield Of Right Of Way.
Isabella Austin, Altoona, was traveling on Hwy 141 when she attempted to turn onto T Ave. Her car slid in the gravel and into a vehicle driven by Julie Valasek, Bondurant, who was approaching the intersection on T Ave. No injuries were reported and damage to Ms. Austin’s car was estimated at $2000. Damage to Ms. Valasek’s car was estimated at $3000.

Charles C. Balius, age 42, 6387 Vista Dr, West Des Moines, was arrested for Operate Without Interlock. He was also cited for Driving While License Denied, Suspended, Cancelled or Revoked, Fraudulent Use Of Registration and Failure To Provide Proof Of Financial Liability.

Caroline Kinney, Redfield, was traveling on I80 near the 110 exit, when she merged into the left lane to pass another vehicle. When she merged, she struck Steven Nolte, Casey, who was traveling in the left lane. Both vehicles sustained damage of approximately $4000. No injuries were reported. Ms. Kinney was cited for Improper Lane Change.
