Dallas Center – Grimes girls golf has been putting together a really nice season so far, and their great stretch continued on Monday, as they were able to finish first out of six teams at the Winterset Invitational. The Mustangs were able to shoot a team score of 385, which was 14 strokes ahead of the host school Winterset.

The Mustangs were able to find three different golfers place in the top five, which included Kaylin Petrak who got second, Laura Klaessy placing third, and Emerson Kleis was able to get 4th for the Mustangs, as they were able to pace themselves and pick up a very nice victory.

DCG will continue their busy week with another tournament today at Oskaloosa.
