A three-county pursuit ends in one arrest in Dallas County.

Greene County Sheriff Jack Williams tells Raccoon Valley Radio a Greene County Deputy tried to pull a vehicle over on Main Street in Grand Junction around 3:50pm Tuesday for a dark window violation and the driver was operating the vehicle with a barred license. Williams says the vehicle refused to stop and a chase ensued.

Williams says the pursuit went through parts of Greene and Boone counties, reaching speeds of 100 miles per hour, before ending on Highway 141 and O Avenue in Dallas County at 4:45pm. He notes that once the suspect’s vehicle went into the ditch, a Greene County Deputy patrol vehicle rammed it and a Dallas and Boone County Sheriff’s Offices vehicles blocked the suspect’s vehicle from moving.

Williams points out the suspect continued to be non-compliant and was tased. The suspect was then looked over by Dallas County EMS before being released to authorities. No one was hurt in the incident and two patrol vehicles, along with the suspect’s vehicle sustained damage. The suspect, Marcus Terrell, was arrested and was charged with eluding, driving while barred and several other traffic violations. Terrell was transported to the Greene County Jail where he was  booked on the initial charges. Perry Police Department assisted with the incident.
