
A Scranton man was arrested for an alleged domestic abuse incident.
According to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office, 52-year-old Randall Venteicher was arrested Tuesday night and charged with a Class D Felony for his third or subsequent offense for domestic abuse assault. According to court documents, a Greene County Deputy responded to a call of a possible domestic abuse incident in the 100 block of 190th Street at 9:40pm. When authorities arrived on scene, they saw overturned furniture and some blood in locations of the home.
Law enforcement eventually found Venteicher on top of the victim in a barn on the property. The victim’s injuries were consistent that abuse had taken place. Venteicher also had injuries, but the victim claimed it was in self-defense.
Venteicher was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail, where he was later released after posting bond. Raccoon Valley Radio will bring you more information as it becomes official.
