
The Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center High School has announced its spring music concert.
The event will be held at 6:30pm in the high school gym. The Spring Concert will feature the concert band and choir, along with the men’s and women’s choir ensembles. Both the band and choir seniors will be recognized during the concert. Band Director Kyra Babcock says there are 11 seniors in band and they will perform “Awaken the Giant” and “Moscow, 1941.” Choir Director Kelsey Moran says there are 12 seniors who will be performing for the final time. The songs that will be performed by the concert choir include “Unclouded Day,” “Musick’s Empire,” “Baba Yetu,” and “Sing Your Way Home.” The women’s choir will sing “Anybody Have a Map?” and the men’s choir will perform “The Wellerman.”
The public is invited to attend the concert and are required to wear a mask while inside the facility. Free-will donations will be accepted at the door and no pre-registration is necessary.
