Both DCG boys and girls soccer teams were on the field for Little Hawkeye Conference action on Tuesday night against the Warriors of Norwalk, and they were able to split the contests with the boys winning 4-1 and the girls falling in a low scoring contest 1-0.

The boys were able to tally two goals in both the first and the second half, as they were able to pace themselves to a nice victory over a conference foe. Two goals were scored by junior Kendall Bickford, who in the process was able to break the DCG single season scoring record in the victory. Eli Followwill and Jacob Adams were both able to find the back of the net as well.

Both of the DCG teams don’t have any more games for the week, and will have their next contest against Newton next Tuesday, as the Mustangs will be looking for more success before their postseason stretch.
