The Guthrie Center City Council met Monday night in regular session.

The Council held a discussion of nuisance properties with Nuisance Officer Wes Clark. The Council took no action following the discussion. Next, the Council decided not to require new volunteer coaches for parks and recreation programs to be subject to drug tests, unless there was a situation that would need that to happen. They also set May 25th as the public hearing date for an amendment to the city’s current fiscal year budget.

Finally, due to further discussion needed by the Kids Zone Board, the agenda item for a funding request was tabled to a future meeting.
