The Panora City Council approved multiple ordinances at their most recent meeting this past Monday. 

The Council approved the third reading of both Ordinance 340 and Ordinance 341 relating to increasing the charges for water and sewer services, respectively. Also, the Council set the time and date for a public hearing at the next Council meeting for the proposed fiscal year 2020-2021 budget amendment. 

Finally, the Council approved a draft for the purchase of real estate at 318 West Clay Street from Panora Telco for the price of $15,000 and closing costs. The Council then approved the donation of lots to Region XII Council of Governments pending Region XII receiving the grant that they will apply for from the Federal Home Loan Bank Affordable Housing Program to assist with housing development.
