Greene County High School is gearing up for two events for this year’s senior class.

The Senior Awards Night will be Tuesday at 7pm in the high school auditorium. Families are recommended to sit within their “pods” and be socially distanced from other families. The event will recognize scholarships and other class awards. Additionally, for those who don’t feel comfortable attending the awards night in person, the event will be livestreamed on the school’s YouTube channel.

The commencement ceremony will then take place Sunday, May 23rd at 2pm at the high school football field. If there is inclement weather, graduation will be moved to the auditorium. Each student is allowed five family members, regardless if graduation is held outdoors or indoors. Attendees will be allowed to bring their own chairs to set up around the track at the football field.

Both events are free and open to the public, with limited seating available.
