With summer right around the corner, more warmer weather equipment is coming out of storage, including fishing poles.
The Dallas County Conservation Board will offer assistance on free fishing weekend, June 4th, 5th and 6th, and will meet people at the Glissman Conservation Area pond. A naturalist will meet attendees with rods, reels and baits. As a reminder, no fishing license is needed during the Iowa Department of Natural Resources’ free fishing weekend.
You can register for a time slot here. People can fish at the pond outside of free fishing weekend but will need to provide their own equipment and have a valid fishing license. When the gate is closed people can park in the upper lot and walk to the pond.
