Dallas Center – Grimes girls soccer competes today in Des Moines at Cownie Soccer Complex as they compete against Lewis Central. DCG comes in with a 13-5 record while Lewis Central comes in at 17-2. The matchup pins the seven seed Mustangs against the two seed Titans.

DCG and Lewis Central have both been phenomenal on the offensive end, Lewis Central 4th in 2A with a mark of 113, and DCG at 13th with 67 on the season. Both teams are also in the low teens in amount of goals, as both back lines have been excellent all season long. DCG will have to be creative on the offensive end, while trying to penetrate a tough Titan defense. The game is projected to be low scoring, as offensive opportunities could be coming at a premium.
