Another Greene County business recently announced a donation to a child care facility project.

Peoples Bank donated $15,000 toward the new building project for the Greene County Early Learning Center. The financial support is in conjunction with the early learning center’s “Growth Happens Here” campaign to build a new facility that will increase the capacity for additional children by 50-percent to nearly 150 kids. 

The project has received several large sized donations from lots of county employers and grants for the over $1 million building project. The steering committee is continuing to contact area businesses and individuals, however you can email them if you would like to contribute toward the project.
