The City of Minburn is preparing for its citywide cleanup, which begins this weekend. 

Minburn Public Library Director Nicole Connick says tomorrow appliances, metal items and cars with titles will be picked up. Also, Connick says on Wednesday, June 23rd, couches, dressers, televisions, paint and other furniture items will be picked up Connick says latex paint should be dried out. 

Connick tells Raccoon Valley Radio the only items that will not be collected are tires and batteries. Connick says with the second pickup day being on a normal garbage day, Minburn residents will still be able to put out their normal trash as well. 

The citywide cleanup event is only for in-town Minburn residents only.
