A Stuart man was arrested last week following an incident in Stuart.
According to the Adair County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy and a Stuart Police Officer responded to a call of a no contact order violation at a home in the 600 block of Southwest 4th Street on June 16th at 10:46pm. According to the report, 25-year-old Jesse Queener entered the home where there was a no contact order in place with the victims. The homeowner wasn’t home at the time, but her kids were there with a babysitter.
Queener left before law enforcement arrived. During the investigation, cell phone video evidence, as well as witness statements confirmed Queener was in the home. Law enforcement found Queener a short time later and arrested him. After he was arrested, authorities searched his backpack and found drug-related items.
Queener was charged with a Class C Felony for second degree burglary and simple misdemeanors for violation of a no contact order and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was booked into the Adair County Jail.
