adm-7

ADM Tigers softball has been hitting the ball well as of late but ran into a wall on Monday night against Bondurant-Farrar falling by the score of 8-0. The Tigers were only able to muster four hits on the night as the Bluejays were able to hit some big hits throughout the game to pick up the victory. The loss broke a five game winning streak for the Tigers and the first time that they were shutout since their opening night loss to Boone.

The Bluejays were able to put up three runs in both the first and second inning as they were able to put together big frames. Cameran Smith took the loss for the Tigers, giving up four earned runs in two innings. Brooke Hickey was able to record two of the four hits for the Tigers, as they recorded all singles on the night. The Tigers had four errors in the game.

ADM and Bondurant-Farrar split the regular season series, as this could be a potential preview of a substate championship game, with ADM the 1 seed in their district and Bondurant-Farrar the two seed.

ADM will be returning to the diamond tomorrow night when they take on the Winterset Huskies in what is anticipated to be a tough battle. You can listen to that game on True Country K1079, with first pitch projected to be at 7:30 and pregame coverage to begin around 7:15.
