Greene County has been assigned to Class 3A Substate 8 for the high school baseball postseason by the Iowa High School Athletic Association. Although the head coaches involved are expected to hold a seeding meeting this weekend to determine exact pairings, Greene County does know the other seven teams they are grouped with.

Denison-Schleswig has a 12-6 record going into this week. Gilbert and Winterset both entered this week with 13-7 records while Glenwood is 11-9, Carroll 10-10, Harlan Community 8-11, Atlantic 7-11, and Greene County 5-12.

Coach Kevin Paulsen’s Rams have won three games in a row and have games scheduled at Dayton vs. Southeast Valley tonight and at Nevada tomorrow night.
