Violet Vaughn, age 93, of Carlisle, formerly of Jefferson, passed away November 30, 2020.  A memorial service will be held at 10:00am Friday, July 9, 2021 at Slininger-Schroeder Funeral Home, Jefferson, Iowa.  Interment will be in the Jefferson Cemetery.

Survivors include two sons:  Dan (Mary) Miers of Carlisle, IA and Randy (Anne) Miers of Rochester, MN; stepson, Gary (Paula) Vaughn of Boone, IA and step-daughters:  Karen Jahn of Longmont, CO and Debra Geisler of Ankeny, IA;   17 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a sister, Audrey (Merrill ) Larsh of Las Vegas, NV; other relatives and friends.
