Fresh off of the 4th of July weekend, the Dallas Center – Grimes Mustangs softball team will be back in action tonight when they take on Oskaloosa at home. Mustangs softball is currently 2nd in the Little Hawkeye Conference and Oskaloosa 4th, as the two teams will do battle, looking to finish with a flurry of wins before postseason play.

The Mustangs will have this game tonight and then they will play against Harlan tomorrow, as they will be looking for a strong performance these next couple of nights before they get ready for postseason softball later this week. They will have a bye in their first round before playing at home on Saturday in semifinal action. Two wins in the postseason means a trip to Fort Dodge for the Mustangs.

First pitch of the game will be happening at 7:30, as the Mustangs will be looking to start a critical week of the season strongly.
