For non-profit organizations in Perry, the application window for the Perry Hotel/Motel Grant is now open. 

The deadline to submit a grant application is by 3 p.m. on July 20th to the Perry Chamber, and funding allocations will be announced on August 10th. Eligible applicants include non-profit organizations whose project has a beneficial impact on the Perry community. 

Some of the other guidelines include projects that are creative and enhance the attractiveness of Perry, encourage tourism or promote events that draw visitors to Perry. The Perry Chamber receives a portion of the hotel/motel tax from the City of Perry and utilizes it in a variety of ways including this grant program.
