Denison-Schleswig and Greene County were cancelled out of scheduled high school baseball Wednesday at Allensworth Field in Jefferson. Wet field conditions prompted school officials to cancel the game and it will not be made up.

The Rams are idle today and next up is a trip to Merchant’s Park in Carroll to face the Carroll Tigers tomorrow. Greene County is 7-15 and the Rams dropped home games this week to Ogden by a 5-4 score and to Saydel (Des Moines) 3-0 Prior to Monday, Greene County had won five straight games. The Tigers have had a rough go lately as well. They were 10-10 and now stand at 11-16.
