adm-7

ADM Tigers baseball was hoping to break their three game losing streak on Thursday night against Van Meter, but the Bulldogs were able to come out of the gate hitting the ball hard and took advantage of a few ADM errors in a 10-5 loss. The Tigers drop to 8-16 on the season.

Van Meter was able to score early and often as they tallied runs in five of their seven innings, as they were able to jump on the ADM pitching staff throughout the night. Down 10-1 going into the bottom of the 7th, the Tigers were able to rally for four runs to get within striking distance, but stranded the bases loaded to end the game. The Tigers were able tally nine hits on the night but were also plagued with four errors as well, as they will have to find a way to limit mistakes in the future.

ADM will have the rest of the week off before a road game against Creston on Monday, at home against Pella on Tuesday, and then on Friday they will start their postseason run when they take on Clarke in first round action.
