West Central Valley will be taking on Southeast Valley this weekend to start the postseason.

This Class 2A Substate 2, District 4 matchup is a rematch between these two. Southeast Valley won that game 22-8. A game where the Jaguars were able to score eight runs in two innings. Despite that showing, WCV comes into this game a different team. For the Wildcats they’ll be looking to rely on their high scoring offense. WCV will have to lean on players like Sophomore Braiden Beane, he’s been a consistent strong batter. He leads the team with 18 hits on the season.

This Substate game will take place today. The game will be played at AC/GC high school with first pitch at 5pm.
