The Stuart City Council will meet Monday night. 

The meeting will start with a presentation from City Attorney Steve Brick, about the access easement located at 1404 NE 2nd St.

The Council will also consider for approval an amendment to an ordinance to prohibit parking on city access easement and a final approval of the city’s 2021 comprehensive plan. 

Other items on the agenda include, hearing a presentation about rocks in front of the public library, as well as safe school routes project, a K-9 unit program presentation by Stuart Police Chief Dave Reha, discuss several proposals economic development proposals, and an employee compensation presentation. They will also consider approving garbage pick up locations for residents, a contract to purchase a new ambulance, a gas utility franchise fee, making a partial payment for the All Saints Addition,a contract to purchase a new ambulance, gas utility franchise fees, all saints addition, the final pay estimate for a sanitary sewer system improvement project, a recommendation for zoning code change for storage containers that are modified, and a resolution to reauthorize using hotel/motel tax The meeting will take place online and in-person at 6:30pm in the Council Chambers in Stuart City Hall.
