For one area softball team their journey continues on to the state tournament after winning in walkoff style Tuesday.

The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Tigers Softball Team is headed to state after beating the Bondurant-Farrar Bluejays 4-3 on a walkoff single that delivered two runs on Tuesday. The Tigers improved their record to 25-10 and will enter the state tournament next week.

The Tigers move on to the 4A tournament and will face Clear Creek-Amana in Fort Dodge for the first round of play at 3:30 p.m. next Tuesday. Raccoon Valley Radio will have live coverage of the game on True Country K1079.
