adm-7

Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers baseball will be competing tonight in Grinnell as they will look to pull off the upset against the top overall seed in 3A Substate 7 action. The Grinnell Tigers will come into the matchup at 29-5 and ADM at 10-17, as the Tigers will be looking to pull off the tough game.

ADM is coming off of a 10-0 over Clarke in first round action and Grinnell a 10-0 winner over Perry, with both games being played in five innings. The Tigers were able to finish second in the Little Hawkeye Conference during the regular season, and are currently in the midst of a massive winning streak, as they’ve been able to win 10 in a row. The Tigers have been tough at home this year, but have lost four of their five games there.

The keys for the Tigers will be finding a way to keep their bats hot, as the Tigers have been able to tally 36 runs in their last four games or nine a game, a solid mark for an emerging Tigers offense.

First pitch tonight will be at 7 o’clock, and you can listen to the game on  True Country K1079, the KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com. Pregame coverage will begin around 6:45.
