Grinnell closed down the Perry baseball season Friday night in eastern Iowa as the Tigers defeated Perry 10-0 in a Class 3A district opening round matchup.  Perry battled for the first couple of innings trailing only 1-0 but Grinnell took advantage of walks and stolen bases as the Tigers scored six times in the third and three more in the fourth.  The Tigers stole 12 bases in four innings.  Caden Steeva pitched well in the first two innings relying on his curveball to keep the Tigers off balanced.  The Perry offense struggled once again failing to manage a single hit against a talented Grinnell pitching staff.  The Tigers improve to 26-5 and will host ADM tonight in a District final.  Perry closes out the season at 0-26.
