A non-profit organization that supports teachers in the Greene County School District now has their online auction open.
The 4th Annual Bringing Optimism and Opportunities to Students and Teachers (BOOST) Bash fundraiser is tomorrow and even though the time to purchase tickets to attend in person has passed, online bidding is underway. BOOST committee member Matt Wetrich encourages anyone who wants to contribute and support Greene County teachers to sign up to donate or bid on the auction items online.
“It’s easy for folks to bid in their seats at the event, but also you could be in Australia and bid as well, if you wanted to contribute. It’s kind of got some EBay feel (to it). You can set your highest bid, you can be alerted when you’re outbid, stuff like that. So, it’s pretty fun. We’ve got great folks that are dedicated on our committee that get all these things uploaded, and the images, and the descriptions, things. A lot of leg work ahead of time but we definitely feel like it’s worth that.”
Online bidding is now open and will close at 8pm tomorrow. Click the link below to register to bid online.
