Adel-Desoto-Minburn Tigers baseball is continuing to get prepared for their state baseball game on Wednesday against Marion, and know that they will have to be sharp against one of the best teams in the state. This is the third straight trip for the Tigers, with this being the second time in the last three years that they enter as a team with a losing record.

The Tigers will be looking to rely on excellent pitching, as they were able to get phenomenal pitching from Tate Stine-Smith in the first two wins of the postseason and Luke Greth in the final win as they were able to get two wins against top 10 teams, and now will be looking into their third straight game against this time the top team in 3A.

Offensively the team has continuing to churn out some great offense thorough out the playoffs, as they’ve had 10 runs in the first round, 9 runs in the semifinals, and 8 runs in the substate final. They will need to continue to put up big numbers if they look to continue their miracle stretch.

The game on Wednesday will be at 1:30 in Iowa City. You can listen to the game on the home of Tiger athletics True Country K1079, KKRF app, and raccoonvalleyradio.com
