For those attending River Ruckus this year and planning on consuming alcoholic beverages they should not drive. 

Guthrie County Sheriff Marty Arganbright says there will be law enforcement in the vicinity and there are serious implications when driving under the influence.

Also Arganbright gave some advice on how to avoid drinking and driving. 

“ if you have consumed a lot of alcohol dont take the risk , it will end up in not a good situation and so also I tell people if you can’t get a ride you can always call us we will give you a ride and make sure you are safe .” 

River Ruckus will offer free shuttle rides to nearby hotels such as Jefferson’s Wild Rose Casino & Resort and Super 8, Guthrie Center’s Springbrook State Park and Stuart hotels along I-80 after the concert is over. Also, law enforcement encourages people to be safe and have fun.
