As the calendar moves closer to an annual event in Dallas County, there is still time to make sure you can participate by registering. 

The Adel Sweet Corn Festival 5K Run will begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, August 14th and the deadline to register for the event is August 13th. If you don’t make it by the deadline, no worries, as walk-in registrations will also be accepted the day of the race.  

The cost to register is $30 and includes a shirt. The race will go along the parade route in Adel.
