Communities across the U.S. can now apply for grant funds that have been allocated to the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA).
As part of the American Rescue Plan, $3 billion has been given to the EDA, which has put together six programs to help communities, businesses and industries lessen the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic has had. Some programs are designed to revitalize a company’s economy, providing training to get employees back to work, tailoring work to meet local needs, grant funds specifically for the indegenious population, revalitzing tourism and extending technical help to grantees.
