There are a few youth programs coming up with the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department.

The U8 Soccer program includes games to be played in Jefferson and Ogden on Saturdays from September 11th through October 16th. Practice schedules will be arranged by the coaches after the teams are formed and each participant is required to wear shin guards. All practices will take place at Keslo Park. The registration fee is $35 for Greene County Community Center members and $40 for non-members. Additionally fees include youth and adult jerseys for $15 and $17, respectively; and socks for $5. Deadline to sign up is August 18th.

Flag Football for 1st-3rd graders will be on Thursdays from September 2nd-23rd from 5:30-6:30pm also at Kelso Park. This is a non-contact sport with continuous games. The registration fee is $20 for community center members and $25 for non-members, which also includes a t-shirt. Deadline to sign up is August 22nd.
