One year ago, expectations for the 2020 Greene County High School football team may not have been that high, but they are now, with a number of starters back from the team that went 7-3 a season ago. One of the returning starters is quarterback Bryce Stalder, who was named the Class 2A District 9 Offensive Player of the Year following his junior football season.
Stalder talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about dealing with higher expectations. “Being a quarterback, a shortstop, and a shooting guard, on other teams, so you’ve had that before, and you just kind of learn to play with it. So, I’m used to the pressure and it usually doesn’t affect me, so that’s how it usually goes.”
The Rams open the regular season on Friday, Aug. 27 in Guthrie Center vs. ACGC. All Greene County football games can be heard on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
